This resource has a large quantity of topics that can allow students to refresh their knowledge or learn about new topics dealing with English curriculum.
For students interested in learning more about DNA fingerprinting, this site shows students how the process is done and involves them in a bit of a mystery.
For students who wish to collaborate on the same piece, Google Docs allows them to do so with ease.

I am always looking for new avenues to support the ELL students in class. This site would be nice to allow emergent students the ability to use technology and math application at the same time.
This site is great for my General Science course and could also be used for reviewing of concepts for the upperclassman. Con: A pop-up advertisement kept appearing after I navigated throughout the page. If this continues in the future, I would find an alternative site.
This is a great resource for a consumer or general math class as well as a personal finance course. It is especially useful for senior students who will be entering college and/or the workforce or military in the near future.
This is a great resource for students to use in order to learn how to represent and solve algebra equations, substitute in variable expressions, and expand and factor. The application works exactly like using the "hands-on" form of algebra tiles.
Fun Brain allows for many fun and educational opportunities for students and teachers, but the students can easily find the "fun stuff" first and skip the academics although I have seen improvements over the past year.
Kennedy Center provides stepping stones for many research projects with many resources for teachers, students, and parents.
An excellent resource for finding real world application scenarios for math and science related content. Some of the content may not quite be up to high school level but it still seemed very useful especially for some of my lower level classes, or slower performing students.
What could be better than pre-designed lessons? This site offers chemistry lessons based around major conceptual topics. The lessons are also grouped by major chemistry units to make it easy to find what you're looking for. Not everything on this site was great, or even something I might use as is, but it does offer a lot of ideas. Sometimes lesson ideas are all we need.
Podcasting has many aspects, many tools. This site is great for a beginner because it covers podcasting history, tools, aggregators, validators and is ordered sequentially in the sidebar. As a resource, this site is tops! It has links for podcasting uses, links to blogs, wikis, and directories about podcasting, and links yo tradeshows.
The only reason I list this list is because there are a few free manipulatives that I would send Accounting students to. Otherwise, the site wants money and, me, I'm a fan of free! But I would use the Loan Calculator and Savings Calculator (though few bank pay much saving interest these days.) There are great measurement tools, the Fibonacci sequence, and the Golden Rule that I could use in Accounting or in Web Page Design. A nice quick link to start off a lesson or use in a Web Quest.
